AWS is adding USDC stablecoin acceptance for agents.

Amazon’s AWS has unveiled its latest product solution for monetizing content and website traffic. With over 50% coming from bots and consecutive growth from AI Agents, the cloud and hosting provider is enabling payment per visit via USDC stablecoin.

Companies are now able to turn on specialized bot control settings where AI traffic and crawlers can be made to pay to grant page requests and increase revenue.

Specifically, the currency mode setting will make use of the x402 protocol and payment in stablecoins, with currently Circle’s USDC being enabled. Networks like Base and Solana are also mentioned.
