Anchorpoint has launched its HKDAP stablecoin.
Anchorpoint has announced that it is officially working with two distributing partners, Hashkey Group and OSL Group in the first phase of its Hong Kong Dollar stablecoin launch.
Currently, both Hashkey and OSL are offering HDKAP to professional investors via their app and trading platforms, as well as distributing liquidity for trade finance and international fiat payments.
This is part of Anchorpoint’s underlying B2B2C issuance model.
Anchorpoint Leading HKD Stablecoins
The stablecoin issuer closely linked with Standard Chartered and Animoca Brands had received its first stablecoin license from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority regulatory framework in March 2026.
The only other entity to do so was HSBC, making it only 2 HKMA registered stablecoin licensed entities.
Since then, it had also issued a warning about fraudulent HKD stablecoins being advertised in the market.
Anchorpoint noted to only engage with and monitor regulated stablecoin activity as global adoption rises.
HKDAP Reserves
Anchorpoint states that HKDAP stablecoin has reserves in High-Quality Liquid Assets (HQLAs).
The “AP” letters in the acronym stand for “at-par”, highlighting that it is committed to 100% reserves.
Full disclosure at the moment is limited to Beta access users only.
As such, weekly reserve statements will transition to a more widespread practise of attestation reports as adhered to by other international stablecoin issuers.
Anchorpoint continues to develop the infrastructure and issuance of the HKDAP stablecoin.
A full roll-out of the next phase of HDKAP adoption will be announced at a later date.
