MoneyGram finally launches a stablecoin.

Global remittance leader MoneyGram has officially launched a stablecoin intended for users to send money to friends and family back home. MGUSD stablecoin will now be available on Stellar network and is issued in collaboration with M0’s stablecoin issuance infrastructure.

MoneyGram is entering the end of Q2 with a significant announcement in the stablecoin space, a few months after revealing it had partnered with Fireblocks on stablecoin treasury management and a global settlement network for sending and receiving stablecoin balances.
