Rain has received a Mastercard principal membership.
The stablecoin card company is expanding its presence globally in partnership with Mastercard’s global network. Rain will be able to issue debit and prepaid cards for stablecoin spending across 200+ countries.
Recently, Rain has raised a Series C round as it becomes one of the leading stablecoin card issuance companies in the industry. With Visa and Mastercard now both secured to scale the adoption of real-world stablecoin spending in stores and online, their full-stack issuance of stablecoins – as highlighted by a 2026 Artemis report – is now well under way.
