Stablecoins have hit record monthly transactions in 2026.

Global stablecoin transactions have achieved consecutive record monthly highs this year already. Specifically, after January, each month individually had higher transaction counts on Solana and Ethereum networks than any single month since 2020 per Artemis data.

Adjusted figures for stablecoin transactions on Ethereum and Solana show that more transactions have been processed in the months of February, March, and April than previously recorded.

  • February saw $68.8M transactions
  • March saw $100.9M transactions
  • April saw $76.9M transactions

Additionally, more transactions actually took place across Europe (491.6M) than in North America (423.7M) within the same time frame. Europe led from January 2023 all the way to March 2026. Asia currently sits in third place (217.5M) and has been consistently in the top spots.

This is fairly surprising considering that the majority of the stablecoin market prices stablecoins in U.S. Dollar currency, yet simultaneously it illustrates that the demand for stablecoins is everywhere.
