Ripple Receives MiCA License Greenlight In Europe

European MiCA licenses are growing as Ripple secures its own from Luxembourg, helping it scale distribution for the RLUSD stablecoin and similar solutions.

Ripple has officially secured its MiCA license in Europe.

Having applied for it later last year with from Luxembourg, the company has now full EMI (Electronic Money Institution) license from the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) regulator.

Head of UK at Ripple Cassie Craddock also commented on the achievement:

For Ripple its a bigger step forward in consolidating its global licensing to offer full stack financial solution. It builds on its existing jurisdictional licenses from the U.S., UAE and Asia to target more enterprise clients in the European Union.
