Stable has launched StablePay.

The stablecoin native network has officially launched its StablePay payment product for users to send and accept payments globally onchain. Native gas fees and settlements are denominated in USDT, with other features also offered such as StableEarn and StableName.

Should Stablecoin Payments Run On Stablecoin Native Chains?

The team has been building towards this launch since 2025, when stablecoin specific blockchain networks began to be the talk of the digital asset industry.

Running on StableChain, and compatible with Ethereum and other chains, there may be an appeal in sticking to stablecoins as the only settlement rails and tokens for better liquidity, specifically with USDT0 bridge version of USDT stablecoin from Tether that recently reached a transaction milestone.

This is because rather than relying on different cross-chain bridging between the native tokens of different chains and protocol, each party involved in making a trade or transfer is essentially working with the same type of asset and is able to make use of the underlying liquidity.

Stable is also competing with other well-known chains such as Tempo and Plasma to become the leading platform for stablecoin native transfers and solutions for different use-cases.

This includes cross-border settlement, payroll, invoicing, payments, daily spending, and more.

In the next few months, there will be an active effort to attract both retail users and B2B clients towards stablecoin native chains as stablecoins become more popular around the world.
