Tether’s team have revealed the USAT stablecoin is now live.

It took some time for the world’s largest stablecoin issuer to reveal their latest GENIUS Act compliant stablecoin, which now is their third product in the category after USDT (fiat-backed, international) and XAUT (gold-back, international) stablecoins.

Leading this effort is CEO Bo Hines (former White House Executive Director on Digital Assets).

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino celebrated and acknowledged the start of a competitive U.S. based stablecoin landscape (think Paxos, Circle, Ripple, white-label issuers like M0, Brale, etc.):

USAT stablecoin will be live for U.S. based companies and citizens on the following exchanges: Kraken, Crypto(.)com, OKX, ByBit, and MoonPay.

This is just the initial launch phase of exchange partners announced, with likely many more to come in the following months to offer liquidity to the new stablecoin.

Additionally, Anchorage Digital is handling the issuance and custody of reserve assets.
