Visa and WeFi announce a partnership.

Visa and WeFi have officially announced a strategic collaboration for scaling onchain banking operations and infrastructure meant for both consumers and enterprise customers.

Users can now spend their crypto and fiat balances with virtual and physical WeFi spending cards powered by Visa.

By using its global card and authorisation network, there are approximately over 140M merchants that will be able to accept stablecoin and digital asset payments.

Also, WeFi is offering enterprise customers onchain native product solutions such as decentralized credit, MPC wallet infrastructure, and Deobanks. The WeFi token itself can be mined via the cloud and has a deliberate mining engine and vesting workflow.

Tether’s former CEO Reeve Collins is behind the project, integrating blockchain and finance under a new ecosystem model.
