Ripple has secured its full MiCA compliance.

Ripple has announced that its provisional MiCA licensing status has officially updated to full following an update from Luxembourg’s CSSF regulator. With a CASP license, it is now able to provide digital asset and stablecoin-related services across the EU.

This comes after July 1st; a time when MiCA is finally through with its 2 year transitional period.

Over the last few weeks, many firms and exchanges were scrambling to finalize national approvals from European regulators to continue their operations, or have to wind down their businesses.

Those regulated have a distinct advantage for the next few years as stablecoins and tokenization grows in everyday adoption. Eyes are now on which players are able to best turn this into an opportunity to grow their customer base in both retail and institutional settings.
