Tether announced it is part of FASE.
Tether and companies from the digital asset industry and non-profit entities have formed Financial Access and Systemic Empowerment (FASE) Foundation.
This will look to provide support to individuals and families on global challenges around financial inclusion, safety, energy, healthcare, AI, Robotics, and stablecoin aid.
FASE will be headquartered out of Switzerland.
Innovation, Global Aid and Security
Many of the founding members of FASE come from the industry.
Outside of Tether, other listed founding members include Kraken, Fasanara, Solana Foundation, Opera, Anchorage Digital, BitFury, ByBit, Chainalysis, and others.
Financial inclusion and safety will play a core part to the foundation’s efforts.
Tether has already supported education surrounding digital assets and relevant opportunities to help people around developing countries manage their personal finance.
At the start of the year, Tether partnered Bitqik in Laos to raise awareness on technology.
But this launch also goes beyond this to involve participants from the non-profit space.
FASE partnered with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to assist with Cyber resources, while Prosper Global aims to use stablecoins for aid delivery.
In August, stablecoin aid helped victims in the Nepal flooding.
