Samsung went live with USDC payments.

Eligible Galaxy users are now able to send and receive USDC stablecoin balances from their Samsung wallets in the U.S. for faster international transfers.

Last month, the mobile giant announced its launch plans.

There it revealed a partnership with Coinbase and Bastion for stablecoin infrastructure. Also, initially transfers are processed on the Solana network among a few others.

Stablecoin Mobile Go Global

It took a long time for stablecoins to be accepted at a global scale.

Yet stablecoins used in mobile wallet payments is a use-case only picking up steam now.

This adoption from Samsung has the ability to scale stablecoin growth even more, especially into international markets after it sees data from its Galaxy users across the U.S. region.

Importantly, the use of the USDC stablecoin shows that the biggest enterprises in the world are likely to rely on top stablecoins already integrated across ecosystems and rails.

Only several of those currently exist at a large scale.
